Tuesday arrested the police a 30 year old Filipino woman at Gardermoen. The woman has been charged with premeditated murder of her husband, Helge Ove Irgens (61), who was found dead in the couple’s shared home in Sund municipality on June 25 last year, writes bt.no.

– My client does not acknowledge guilt at the present time. She is heavily influenced and in shock at having been charged with such a serious relationship premeditated murder, says defender.

Tuesday’s arrest at Gardermoen was carefully planned and happened not long after 30- old stepped off the plane from Philippines Tuesday.

– She traveled to their original homeland in December last year and had a return ticket. She was even in contact with the police to clarify whether it was appropriate to further questioning before she left, says Keller Fløystad.

Police kept their cards close to the chest while they waited for the woman to come home from vacation. Norway has no extradition treaty with the Philippines, and the police therefore feared that she would never come back if she was aware that she was charged with murder.
