Lokomotiv derailed in Drammen – local traffic flows normally – Oslopuls.no

– The accident comes to creating few, if at all any, irregularities togavviklingen in the Oslo area, says communications manager Åge- Christoffer Lundeby in passenger train operations.

– We have had a couple of trains during the morning hours that have been delayed, but do not think it will be several discrepancies because of the incident in Drammen.

According police had the locomotive several strollers in tow when the derailment occurred on Monday night. A total of train 450 meters long.

– The locomotive has derailed and tilts slightly to the side. Driver is all right and fine, said operations manager Erik Gunnerød in South-East police around at 3:40. He describes the incident as “undramatic”.

Pressevakt Day Svinsås Jernbaneverket reports that the derailment will have consequences for local trains, but that regional trains will go as normal.

According NSB.no is 63 of 70 trains in eastern parts of the route in 7:15 o’clock.

– There will be cancellations and delays for commuter trains. The derailed train blocks access to the site, so that it becomes trouble getting out units for passenger, says Svinsås said. The 450-meter-long freight train barriers also for the regular train line which person trains using. Probably it will be inserted bus for trains on some departures.

According to National Rail is affected lines:

  • The regional train between Oslo and Bergen
  • The regional train between Oslo and Stavanger
  • Line L 12, L13, R10 and R11.

Currently, it is unclear what caused the derailment.
