One dead after car accident in Oslo – VG

A man died after a car fell on the roof and was lying partially submerged in a creek on Dalsroa in Oslo.

The man was declared dead at the scene. The other person is taken to hospital, said operations of the Oslo police, Tor Jøkling, VG.

– He is probably undamaged or only bruised. He takes we eventually some investigations, considering intoxication, says Jøkling.

The police was notified of the accident in time 3:17 Saturday night.

– AMK-center had been notified of an audience who had come across a car that was on the roof, partially in water. Reports could hear noises under the car, said operations of the Oslo police, Tor Jøkling, VG.

The ambulance, police and fire trucks came out, and arrived shortly after. It turned out to be two people in the car. Police said both men, probably in their late twenties. One of them was unconscious, another clamped.

After a short time became one of the two declared dead at the scene.

Police worked first on the basis of a theory that it could have been more people in the car after one of the men suggested that there had been four people in the car together.

For NTB says Jøkling that it is unclear whether it was said because the person was in shock, or whether it was caused by something else.

– We have not found anything to indicate that, so we have ended search for them, says Jøkling VG.

The car was taken up before 4:30 am, and it was empty for people, type NTB.

police and accident group from NPRA do research on site. The cause of the accident is not known, but police take into account that driving under the influence may have been the cause.
