Three people charged with assaulting several children – Bergens Tidende

Two years ago, the case was reviewed by CPS and then dropped. Now a woman and two men, one is the child’s father, arrested for sexual relations with three children under ten years.

All three are charged with violating the Criminal Code Section 195, which applies to sexual intercourse with children under 10 years.

The accused are two householders in 30 – and 40s and a woman in her late 20s.

– It was child welfare who reviewed the case. There are three children involved and the accusation comes from the period 2010 to 2014, said police prosecutor Inger-Lise Høyland.

The three children were under ten years, and the maximum sentence is therefore 21 years. The youngest victim should have been a year when the abuse started.



Convicted of abuse of children

The three children are siblings and one of the accused is the father of the children. The violations covered by the indictment allegedly occurred at his home.

BT is aware that the other man who is charged in the case had previously been convicted of sexual intercourse with children under 16 years. He received a sentence of eight months to pay victim restitution claims.

Police Attorney Høyland said the case was originally reviewed by CPS in 2014. six months ago, in February 2016, the case was dropped due to lack of evidence.
