Train with 150 people has come out of the tunnel at Oslo S. – Dagbladet.no

16.15 reports Firefighting and rescue agency on twitter that train with evacuees have just run safely into Safeway.

the train had been standing inside the tunnel because of power failure.

Just after 15.50 the police could confirm that there is no case of a fire, but could not rule out that at some point has been smoke as a result of overheating in the electrical system.

Here are the events:

the time 15.55 is a train with about 150 people on board stuck in the tunnel, according to operations manager of the Oslo police, Gjermund Stokkli.

– No one should be injured, and the dispatching center in contact with the train, says operation leader told Dagbladet.

None of the emergency services have come forward to train. The people on board the train shall be evacuated out by another train.

The police evacuated the tracks 9 and 10 in Oslo, and has sealed off the area. The terminal building was not evacuated, but photographs and witness reports from the site testifies to the chaos.

– We have had people inside the tunnel to see if there is a fire or smoke, but have not found anything. We’re working to get out the train is inside the tunnel, says director Lars Magne Hovtun in Firefighting and rescue agency told Dagbladet at 15.50.

He says that the fire department has had five fire engines on site and the rescue department has been in the tunnel.

the police was notified of the incident at 15.25. That was when the fire brigade which reported that a possible fire and smoke development.
