Selection believe conscience reservation should take place in dialogue – Romsdals Budstikke

The committee was appointed in the wake of the so-called reservation trial in 2014. It created a lot of debate as part GPs wanted to refuse to refer women to abortion.

Tuesday handed Committee, under the leadership of Professor Bjørn Kåre Myskja, its report to the Labour and Social Affairs anniken hauglie (H).

The committee has seen wider on how one should solve conflicts at workplaces where some refuse from performing specific tasks. More regulation is not the way to go, concluded the committee.

– Legislation providing protection but also power to the employee. It can be inflexible, and in some situations also seem conflict drifting mean Myskja.

Legislation should still be limited to matters concerning life and death, as execution of abortion and religious considerations in denominations as marriages of gays and lesbians couples. (© NTB)
