the Disabled have lower self-esteem. They stay more at home. This happens because they get to hear the nasty things from the other. 36 per cent of disabled people have experienced nasty comments. It shows a new study.

Nordlandsforskning has made study about this. Some disabled people also experience hate comments.

We’ve known that this happens, ” says Terje Olsen to the newspaper VG. He’s working at Nordlandsforskning.

It is most often adults who speak rudely to the disabled. They know often the person.

– It is surprising that there is a sufficiently serious numbers, and that the consequences are so serious that they are, ” says Olsen.

the Disabled have told us that they are sad. They will not speak in front of people.
